Experience the Good Life in Norway, the land of the Vikings.

The Culture and the Great Outdoors

Norway is synonymous with the great outdoors and most Norwegians love to spend as much of their free time outside as possible. As the home of skiing and so many majestic mountains, they often claim that their chiildren are born with skis on their feet. However, this land of wide open spaces offers so much more choice than many other countries, inaddition to skiing it has an unparalleled freedom for exploration, with a diverse range of activities for tourists in both summer and wintertime.

Norway is the centre of extreme sports and a Mecca for hiking and climbing. The land of Vikings is steeped in centuries of history and tales of cultural and literal survival. Its way of life is derived from farming the land and fishing the seas. Today it boasts a wealth of good life, good food and safe clean living, largely due to cultural traits and the  wealth that the country has acquired since the first find of oil in 1969.

Here at Love Norway we like to tap right into this good life for you. We’re able to offer our clients the flexibility to book a wide range of outdoor and cultural activities, alongside booking accommodation. We can organise your chosen activities either as additions to a sightseeing holiday or as the main focus of an exclusive activity break.

World Class Guides

We work closely with local experts in most fields of outdoor pursuits and cultural experiences, to ensure that we introduce our clients to the services of people who are not only passionate about their field of expertise but also about delivering the best experiences. As one of our guided hiking associates says: “It’s not just about the destination, but it is about the journey too”.

The companies we work with are all skilled and some of the guides/instructors are world class in their chosen field of sports. We can therefore cater for a spectrum of abilities, ranging from beginners who simply wish to experience a new activity to people with acquired skills, who wish to perfect their talents.

Some activities and cultural experiences don’t require a specialist instructor at all, but we can supply that all-important know-how and arrange the event or activity for you.

If you don't see the activity that you would like to participate in, then please just ask: we may already have contacts and if not, we will do our best to source the information you need.

I prefer the saddle to the street car, and star-sprinkled sky to a roof, the obscure and difficult trail, leading to the unknown
